Job Title: Field Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Field Mechanic to join our team, primarily focusing on the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment used in construction. The role involves working mostly in the field at various job sites. Key responsibilities include diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical components, and engines, as well as performing repairs and testing post-repair. The mechanic will also undertake preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire repairs, and belt changes.

Hard Skills

  • Heavy Equipment/Construction Equipment Repair

  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and engines

  • Repair of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and engines

  • Preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire repair, belt changes

  • Experience with yellow paint equipment (Cat, Deere, Komatsu, etc)

Soft Skills

  • Problem-solving

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently

Work Site

This is based out of Springfield, Georgia.

Work Environment

This job will mostly be completed in the field with minimal shop work
