Aerotek Machine Operator in Stevens, Pennsylvania
Assemblers / Packers / Machine Operators needed on 1st shift in Denver, Pa
Shift:
1st shift: 6am-2:30pm
Job Description:
Set up brake press and other bending equipment to bend, notch, punch, form or straighten the frame parts
Set up Shear and other metal cutting equipment and operate to cut materials to desired dimensions.
Prepare, load and unload material for operation
Check width, length, and angles of metal
Read and understand work orders and/or drawings to produce required parts for finished products
Precision bending to flat piece of sheet metal into fully formed frame
Inspect parts for defects after being formed and take action if needed
Uphold all safety standards applicable to the responsibilities above
Job Requirements:
· Machine operating or production experience.
· Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.
· Any experience with hand tools, power tools, micrometers, calipers or gauges is a plus.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
(Onsite interview required. Starting as soon as possible)
