Aerotek Machine Operator in Suffolk, Virginia

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize the safety of yourself, your peers, and the overall operation.

• Operate fiberboard slitting machine in a safe and efficient manner.

• Perform machine setup, including adjusting settings and loading materials.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and quality output.

• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain product specifications and identify any deviations.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance tasks as needed.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.

• Complete production logs and reports accurately and timely.

• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of machine operation and safety procedures.
