Aerotek Battery Technician in TETERBORO, New Jersey
Aerotek Aviation is looking to hire a Battery Technician for its client at Teterboro Airport to perform a variety of responsibilities.
Job Description:
They will be servicing, testing, repairing, charging, and cleaning aircraft batteries. Also, when they are slow they will work on the wheels and brakes and some other general duties in the wheel and brake shop.
Preferred Experience:
Electronic or electrical background
Aircraft Battery testing experience
Troubleshoot Perform inbound and outbound battery checks for damages.
Troubleshoot capacity rates, run tests, charge and discharge using volts ranging from 12 to 24 DC.
Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to ensure proper battery assembly and usage.
Must Haves:
• Mechanical background in Aviation or Auto
• Mechanically inclined
• Repair and assemble experience
