Aerotek Excavator Operator in Vancouver, British Columbia
We are looking for Excavator Operators for a local position with daily OT paying up to $44/hr
Job Description
Seeking a proficient heavy equipment operator with local experience in underground utilities, sewer, water, road construction, and site preparation projects. The role involves operating an excavator for various civil construction performing tasks such as bulk excavation, trimming panels, working alongside drillers, grading, and loading trucks. This position requires operation of specific machinery including 336 CAT, 349 CAT, 350 John Deere, and 470 John Deere.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as an Equipment Operator, specifically Excavator experience
Mainline experience, experience working around live utilities and live roads
Recent local experience (lower mainland projects)
Experience with bulk excavation, loading trucks, trimming panels, grading
Class 5 License
Work Environment:
Sites are located across the lower mainland
Current sites are located in Surrey and Vancouver
These are civil construction projects
Shift:
Monday - Friday
Saturdays often available (optional for those who want it)
Start time is generally 7:00am
Typically working 10-12 hour days
OT after 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly
Payrate:
- $35/hr - $42/hr
