A company in Vernon is looking for a Pump Mechanic on the first shift. (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). Pay is between $30 and $40 an hour based on experience. The ideal candidate is expected to conduct full service and repairs for a range of pumps. (15 lbs psi to 8000 lbs psi). Most pumps are fluid based - water etc. but not exclusively water pumps. They will be working on centrifugal pumps, multistage charge pumps, multistage split cases, 3 stage horizontal splits, multistage blowers etc. The ideal candidate will breakdown the pump completely and conduct full repairs in house, test it, and ship it. Someone with Millwright experience or 8 to 10 years of experience working as a pump mechanic is ideal. The candidate must have great critical thinking and reasoning skills.
