Job Title: Maintenance Custodian

Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Custodian with 2-3 years of experience minimum.

• The role involves performing general labor duties inside and outside the facility, as well as on rooftops.

• The successful candidate will be tasked with driving the company truck to pick up supplies, collecting and disposing of recycling, trash, and machining chips, operating a crusher and/or baler for recyclable cardboard and wood.

• Other duties include maintaining cleanliness of the facility and its surroundings, performing preventative maintenance as required or by frequency schedule, and conducting minor electrical and plumbing repairs.

• The candidate should be comfortable working from heights using scissor lift or boom lift, and should be able to safely operate a forklift.

• The role requires adherence to safety protocols including wearing required PPE (Steel Toed Safety Shoes, Safety glasses, Hearing protection) and setting/unsetting security to the building.

• Basic Facility Maintenance Experience

• Industrial/Manufacturing Skills

• Preventative Maintenance

• Forklift Operating Experience

• Operating crusher and/or baler

• Minor Electrical and Plumbing Repairs

Shift/Pay

• 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday

• $17.00-$22.00/hr - pay rate is dependent on the interview process, skills, and experience.

Work Environment

• The work environment is climate controlled inside but will also involve working outdoors.
