Job Description
Join our team as a Hi-Temp Staging Operator in our Carbon division, where you'll handle highly technical equipment, including high temperature induction furnaces and textile operations. Your role involves monitoring equipment, recording data to document the manufacturing process, and ensuring production meets quality standards. You will be responsible for loading and unloading machines, documenting manufacturing discrepancies and outcomes, troubleshooting anomalies, and performing preventative maintenance. This position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts, including night shifts.
Hard Skills
Operation of high temperature induction furnaces
Experience with machine operation or production in manufacturing
Experience matching parts to blueprints
Proficiency in using various types of gauges (height, depth, thread, etc.), micrometers, and calipers
Data entry on computers

Work Environment
Work in a newer, climate-controlled building within the Carbon Department. The area can become hot near the furnaces. A 12-hour 2-2-3 rotating schedule is required, including both day and night shift.
