Aerotek Welder in Washington, Missouri

1st shift

Description:

Perform MIG welding on fabricated metal parts for the production of both standard and specialized products. Follow complicated blueprints and other engineered drawings and setup machine to necessary specifications. When not welding, seeks out other opportunities to help the team in any department that may need the extra help.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with MIG and setting up machines for light gauge metals (16 gauge to ¼”).

Requires full understanding of welding procedures like electrode size, current, arc length and voltage, travel speed and electrode angle.

Requires thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints along with the ability to convert this knowledge to obtain an efficient product.

Must pass ASME certification in agreed upon time frame. Discuss with Supervisor at interview.
