Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

• As a forklift operator, you will prepare and load finished product shipments onto trucks, unload and deliver raw materials to machine operators, and manage inventory control.

• Your duties will also include lifting by hand, so you must be comfortable stooping and lifting up to 50lbs regularly.

• You will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of shipping manifests, logging discrepancies, and assisting the shipping/receiving lead.

• Additional duties include transporting material or equipment within the facility, loading and unloading goods from vehicles, moving goods within the storage facility, ensuring loads are secure, and examining products for quality standards.

Job Type

• This is a permanent position.

Work Site

• This is a fully on-site position in West Linn, Oregon.

Work Environment and Shift:

• You will be working in an industrial paper mill, which can be loud at times.

• The shift hours are from 6am - 6pm on a compressed rotating schedule (5 days on, 5 days off).
