Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Westfield, Indiana

Job Description - Maintenance Technician

This company is an automotive safety seat manufacturer with a four-person maintenance team. The company is looking to bring another maintenance technician onto the day-shift team for this long-term career opportunity.

Available Shifts :

Day Shift: Monday - Thursday (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) & Friday (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Company does not operate on Sundays

Starting Pay Range :

$25/hr. - $27/hr.

Responsibilities

  • This role will focus on equipment maintenance, ensuring all machinery within our plant is running efficiently.

  • Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of a variety of equipment including:

  • robotic welders, lasers, sewing machines, air bag testers, rivet guns, presses, brake presses, and powder coaters.

  • Alongside these tasks, the technician will also have a specific PM schedule to follow.

Hard Skills

  • 1-2 years of equipment/machinery maintenance

  • Electrical troubleshooting up to 480 V-motors and drives

  • Preventative maintenance

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time-management abilities
