Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Join our team as a Welder, engaging in the precision craft of TIG and MIG welding on a variety of metals, including sheet metal, stainless steel, and carbon. In this role, you will perform layout work, fabrication, and assembly duties. Our projects involve a wide range of products with low volume, varying from small parts to items up to 15 feet in size. This position requires working from detailed prints and is not production line based, offering a dynamic work environment with diverse welding challenges.

Hard Skills

• 2 years of TIG and MIG welding experience

• Ability to work with sheet metal between 16g and 7g

• Experience welding on stainless steel and carbon

• Proficiency in reading and working off of prints

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently

• Reliability

• Flexibility with work hours and overtime

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in WHITEWATER, Wisconsin.

Work Environment

Our facility maintains a clean shop environment and houses approximately 100 colleagues. Work hours for the 1st shift are typically from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with possible extension to 5:30 am to 3:00 pm and occasional mandatory weekends. The 2nd shift runs from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays. Competitive pay includes a shift differential for second shift roles.
