Job Title: Sheetmetal Mechanic

Pay Rate / Location: $40/hour – $45/hour / Wichita, KS

Job Overview:

· Aerotek Aviation is seeking a qualified Sheetmetal Mechanic to join one of the largest Aerospace companies in the country! We offer our

Job Responsibilities:

· Work within a team and independently to build composite structure details and assemblies using carbon and other composite materials.

· Utilize instructions from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures.

· Perform multi-tasking and multi-machine operation where applicable.

· Work on platforms up to ten feet above the ground.

· Work in confined spaces.

· Work over head.

· Work within a team environment.

· Proficient use of technology i.e. computer, phones, laser projection, digital vacuum gauges.

· Use hand pressure and small tools to form and contour lay-up.

· Ability to use tools such as scissors, knives, pushing tools, markers, and other small tools.

· Maintain a clean working environment and clean as you go.

Qualifications:

· 4+ years of aircraft structures experience.

· Experience with sheetmetal, composite drilling, assembly, and installs.

· Maintain a clean working environment and clean as you go.

Work Environment / Shift:

· Must be flexible for 1st or 2nd shift.

· OT available.
