Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to assist in maintaining the efficiency of production lines by using stand up forklifts and tuggers. Responsibilities include removing leftover materials and cardboard from the production line, handling and compacting trash using a baler and compactor, and conducting weekly floor cleanings with a floor scrubber. Candidates will also be responsible for palletizing, strapping, and loading materials into trailers. Comprehensive training on stand up forklift operation will be provided by a certified equipment company.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Windsor, Virginia.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a large manufacturing facility on a 12-hour shift schedule, day shift schedules (6am-6pm) or night schedules (6pm-6am) are available.The schedule includes working two weekends per month with shifts arranged as 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on, following a rotating pattern. Safety gear such as steel-toe shoes, ear plugs, and hair/beard nets are mandatory.
