Diesel Mechanic/Service Technician

Description:

• Construction Field Service Technician will be installing and servicing engines of wind machines out in the field

• Climbing wind machines and making any necessary diagnostic and repair

• Will be performing service audits on the wind machines after installation

• Service Technician will be performing service audits on the wind machines after installed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have knowledge of engines (v-10, caterpillar, Chevy, Ford, propane/diesel engines)

• Must be able to diagnose engines

• Must have electrical experience

• Must have at least 2 year experience in the Automotive Industry (but not a deal breaker)

• Must have a clean DMV driving record

• Must be open to traveling up to Napa if needed

• Must be able to climb 35ft in the air

Top Skills Details:

• Climbing experience

• V-10 Engine experience

• Caterpillar experience

• Propane, Diesel, and Manual Transmission experience

Work Environment:

• Working out in the agricultural fields, almond orchards and exposed to extreme weather conditions in the central valley

Schedule:

• Summertime schedule

• Monday - Thursday : 6:00am - 4:30pm

• Starting in October (frost season)

• Monday - Saturday/Sunday : 6:00am-6:30pm

• 10-14 hour shifts
