Aerotek CNC Machinist in YAKIMA, Washington

Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

Join our team in a dynamic role as a Machinist, where you'll be responsible for machining a wide variety of parts, ranging from small segments to larger components such as pistons, cylinders, and caps. You will work on over 70 different CNC machines, ensuring precise measurements and adherence to tight tolerances, as well as setting up and operating machine tools like lathes, milling machines, and grinders to create aerospace parts. Additionally, you'll conduct standard shop computations, monitor and verify quality, prepare machines for production, troubleshoot malfunctions, and ensure production deadlines are met.

This is a fully on-site position in YAKIMA, Washington.

Pay

$20-$30

Work Environment

The facility manufactures hydraulic & actuation cylinders for airplanes, featuring a variety of machine types, from manual to high-tech CNC machines. The current team consists of 274 employees, with a majority in manufacturing roles. Work shifts include: Swing (2 PM- 10:30 PM) and Grave (10 PM- 6:30 AM), with the potential to move to day shifts based on seniority. During training, the shift will be days and then fully on nights.
