Aerotek Blow Mold Operator in YORK, Pennsylvania
Job Description
Join our team as a Blow Mold Operator where you will be responsible for operating machinery that transforms raw plastic granules into usable containers through a meticulous molding process. Your role will involve making necessary adjustments to the machinery, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs or contacting maintenance when needed. You will follow all company guidelines for quality, assist with mold changes, machine setups, and conduct quality checks through visual inspections and measurements to ensure that the product is within the required parameters. Additionally, you will assist other operators and maintenance staff with mechanical issues, maintain a clean workstation, and handle necessary documentation both on paper and computer.

This is a fully on-site position in YORK, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment
This position requires working a rotating 12-hour shift (7:30 PM - 7:00 AM) in a production environmen. The role involves exposure to moving mechanical equipment, and the noise level is usually loud. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in the production department and other designated areas. The plant's temperature can vary with seasonal changes, reflecting both hot and cold conditions.
