Aerotek Warehouse Associate in York, Pennsylvania

Currently Hiring 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate

Growth Opportunity

MUST be willing to train on 1st shift

Shift: 3:30p-12am

Pay Range: $18-19/hr

Job Description

Candidates will be cross-trained in multiple warehouse functions and must be comfortable with hand picking, packing, processing, and unloading trailers by hand. This is not a Forklift Operator role but may involve operating various equipment such as Order/Cherry Picker, Swing Reach Truck, Sit Down Forklift, and Manual Pallet Jack.

Responsibilities

  • Pull orders with an order picker

  • Load and unload trucks

  • Inventory control

  • Pack orders for small parcel shipments

  • Complete all necessary paperwork

  • Follow inspection processes to ensure product quality

  • Record and deliver parcel deliveries

  • Assist with receiving responsibilities

  • Supply raw materials to departments as needed

  • Maintain general housekeeping practices

  • Maintain physical condition of all equipment

  • Assist other operators in a team environment

  • Follow all company policies and procedures

  • Work overtime as needed, including weekends

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Skills

  • Order selection

  • Order picking

  • Cherry picker operation

  • Warehouse experience (3+ years)

  • Packaging

  • Shipping label preparation

  • Inventory control

  • Stand-up forklift operation

  • Shipping and receiving

  • Warehouse inventory management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to operate a forklift

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience with material handling equipment

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English

  • Physical ability to perform various tasks (lifting, stooping, squatting, etc.)

  • Ability to lift at least 70 lbs frequently and push/pull at least 82 lbs of force

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
